It’s all change at the top for the Rotary Club of Exmouth and District, with a new president taking the reins.
Martyn Clegg took over in the top job, replacing outgoing president John Thorogood.
The current vice president, Linda Wilson, has moved up to become president-elect, and will become the first female president in the history of the club in 2018.
Martyn said: “It’s a great honour for me to be elected the club president. I shall do my utmost to ensure the club continues its good work in our town and community during the coming year.”
John said: “It has been a privilege to serve as club president during the year and to enjoy being the ‘public’ face of Rotary; to see the faces of the young people as they receive our awards or financial help and, first hand, the support we give to so many aspects of our town and community. It’s been a thoroughly enjoyable year.”
