The school’s under nine boys’ team won gold, while its under 11 boys’ and girls’ teams took silver and bronze respectively.

In the individual competition, Louie Fagan, eight, won individual gold and Lilly Woodward, 10, walked away with silver.

Marpool Primary School headteacher Rachel Pattison said: “I am really proud.

“They are a young team so it bodes well for the future.

“We have some really young ones up and coming so it is really exciting as a school.
