SPORT enthusiasts flocked to Exmouth Marina last weekend.
Two days of activities and entertainment took place to celebrate the opening of a new shop at Waterfront Sports.
Guests included the town Mayor Joy Whipps and star of Britain's Got Talent, Exmouth's Dave Darbyshire.
Free windsurfing lessons and free drink and food were on offer at the Beach Pub.
Joint shop owner Peter Mansfield said: "The event was a huge success. We could not have asked for any better.
"All the food and drink was gone afterwards which was a good sign! It was a brilliant weekend."
Peter said the town crier attended and the pub was apparently busier than on New Years Eve such was the success of the event.
The weekend of events to mark the shop's opening also featured one man who windsurfed from Seaton to Exmouth and raised more than 200 for Cancer Research.
Peter said there were plans for a beach party to be held at the marina in July.
