Man injured in collision with car

A man has been hospitalised after a collision with a car in Withycombe.

Police say the incident happened in Pound Lane at 6.57pm last Wednesday, November 13, when a red Seat Leon was involved in a collision with the 27-year-old pedestrian near the MPS Glass and Window Centre.

An ambulance service spokesman said the man received head and arm injuries, which were not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening, and was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

A police spokesman said the collision would be investigated.
