TALENTED actors from St Peter's in Lympstone embarked on a tour to perform the school's own adaptation of a children's novel.

A 30-strong cast and crew visited Warkwick, London and Oxford to perform Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland during their half-term break.

Children from St Peter's go on tour every year with a drama production.

The show's director, Kay Rhodes, said the cast and crew worked so hard towards the production and performed well.

"This was most definitely a team performance," she said.

"The lead characters displayed talent and ability way beyond their years. Thank you to the cast, parents and staff who have helped on this ambitious tour.

"Parents texted staff after the last show to say 'thank you for a wonderful trip.' The boys can't stop talking about it!

While in Oxford, home to Lewis Carroll, the children visited the Christ Church Cathedral School and performed at the North Wall Theatre and, in London, they toured the Globe Theatre.
