A distraught Victoria Road resident has had her dog returned by a kind neighbour.
Jane Waycott was walking her 14-month-old white Westie Jethro, near her home at around 10pm on Tuesday evening (August 16) when a larger dog ran across the road and attacked them.
She sustained injuries and Jethro escaped from his leash – but today a kind car driver spotted the injured Jethro and handed him into a vets.
Jethro and Jane have been reunited.
