As indicated in the Journal of July 28, The Clipper pub has applied to place tables and chairs outside its premises in The Strand, Exmouth.

The plans, however, show that the pavement kerb outside the Clipper will be moved to accommodate the tables. This will result in the loss of several parking spaces in an area already severely depleted of parking.

There is great concern that Exmouth has lost so many parking spaces and this will remove the last ones in The Strand.

Has Devon County Council already decided to remove the parking, or is the Clipper paying to have them removed?

Surely, Exmouth has suffered enough with the awful Strand development we did not want and now highways appears to be killing off the town by removing more parking!
