Time is running out for East Devon residents to make sure they are registered to vote in next month’s elections.
East Devon District Council is in charge of compiling the electoral register for the General Election, and district and town council elections, which will take place on May 7.
The last day for receipt of applications to vote is Monday, April 20.
To register to vote, visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote, or contact the district council’s Electoral Services team by calling 01395 517402, or emailing electoralservices@eastdevon.gov.uk.
Residents who are already registered to vote, but want to have a postal vote rather than going to a polling station on election day, will have to apply by 5pm on Tuesday, April 21.
