SOME £110,000 worth of cigarettes - believed to be contraband - suspected laundered cash and cannabis were seized by Exmouth police on Thursday afternoon in raids at two Littleham properties.
Two houses in Mountain Close were searched. Along with the cigarettes, cannabis with a street value of £10,000 and £8,500 in cash was also seized.
PC Glenn Herbert hailed the seizure as a great success said it was one of the largest hauls of drugs and contraband cigarettes in Exmouth for a long time:
"This will help to combat anti-social behaviour and against drug use which can lead to burglaries."
Police said a 66-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of money laundering and intent to supply drugs. He was taken to Heavitree Police Station.
A warrant had also issued for another man, said police.
