LITTLEHAM'S brainpower raised £185 for Children in Need when Littleham's Associations, Residents and Friends (LARF) held a pub quiz at the Clinton Arms.

More than 70 people pitted their wits to answer questions set by quiz master John Upton.

The winning teams donated their prize money to the appeal.

During the evening Littleham's recently-crowned Unsung Hero Vida Philllips presented cheques on behalf of LARF to Chill Youth Club, Littleham in Bloom and Littleham Community Hall.

The money was raised from previous LARF events and each group received £100.

Littleham parish youth and family worker Nigel Candelent said: "Members of Chill are delighted to receive this very kind donation. They have decided unanimously they would like the money to go towards their Christmas party.
