Littleham - have your voice heard

PUBLISHED: 10:50 25 January 2011

Littleham residents are tomorrow invited to voice any issues about the area at a meeting where the police, residents and local authorities work together to tackle local issues of concern.

Littleham’s local issues will be discussed at the Bidmead Centre on Wednesday January 26 at 7.30pm when the Littleham Residents Association (LRA) holds it first meeting of 2011.

Speed limit trials, parking plans on The Green and the Littleham Residents Association website are among the discussions on the night.

The meeting will be followed by the Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting, where the police, residents and local authorities work together to tackle local issues of concern.

An LRA spokesperson said the group was keen to hear from anyone with concerns or opinions.

The spokesperson said: “The association has a number of ongoing projects including various traffic issues on the Littleham Road and through the village.

“We are happy to take up residents concerns and we would like to encourage more residents to attend this meeting, which should be well attended by town and county councillors and our local police officers.

“The association is eager to tackle new tasks within the local community and needs residents to attend this meeting and voice their concerns.”
