Budleigh Lions Club may not have been able to put on its popular Gala Week, but they have still been able to raise funds for good causes.
Members of the club organised a special Easter basket raffle in High Street, raising more than £890 to support the town and the surrounding villages.
Usually, the club would be looking forward to its Gala Week in which a range of events are held to raise funds for charities and good causes.
This year, Gala Week was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the Lions are hoping to put on more fundraisers this summer.
The lions club thanked those who have supported their raffle.
A spokesman for the club said: “Budleigh Lions would like to say a very sincere thank you to all who entered out Easter basket raffle helping us to raise a net £890 which will help us to continue to support our Town and surrounding Villages.”
