Two Budleigh Salterton businesses have been recognised for their help given to the town’s Lions Club.
President Richard Allen presented certificates of appreciation to Tea & TIttle Tattle and High Street Greengrocers.
The certificates state: “With thaks and in appreciation of the valuable support and assistance you have given to Budleigh Salterton Lions’ Club.”
Mr Allen added: “Over the years both of these local businesses have been incredibly generous and donated prizes for our various raffles which has helped us to provide much needed funds for local charitable causes.
“We are extremely grateful for all the support that we get from the local business community.”
The Lions Club’s fundraising has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic with events like Gala Week having to be cancelled.
The club is hoping to organise some popular Gala Week events later this year.
