Life’s a beach ... if you’re a horse

PUBLISHED: 07:00 04 April 2014

Yet again, there is another letter (Dogs poll, please, Opinion, March 27) moaning about dogs on the beach!

A couple of Sundays ago we took our very elderly dog to the beach for a little stroll.

We always pick up after him and he is now kept on his lead as he gets very confused, but he has always been very well behaved.

On arrival, there were several horses and riders already on the beach, nothing against that, but when they left they left behind gallons of urine and piles of manure!

I haven’t heard any complaints or seen any letters about that and it’s just as much of a health hazard!
