I am writing in response to Councillor Malcolm Mitchell's comment on the front page of the Journal last week regarding the proposed Lidl store being a budget supermarket and how it would be extremely useful, especially for nearby estates where people on low incomes live. Councillor Mitchell even goes on to throw in a few street names as well! Well, Councillor Mitchell, people on low incomes live all over Exmouth, as do patronising councillors, so it would seem!Mrs N Smith,(who lives in one of the 'low income' streets mentioned by Councillor Mitchell).
