A signed copy of Jeremy Corbyn’s first conference speech bearing the shadow leader’s original signature raised £100 at a Labour Party fundraising party in Exmouth.

Donations were invited until £100 was raised through a raffle, with the winner being drawn as Lesley Willmott, pictured here.

Entrants were each allowed one ticket, giving all an equal chance of scooping the signed manuscript.

The speech was gifted to the local party by Eddie Lopez, Ben Bradshaw’s former agent and personal friend of Jeremy Corbyn.

Labour agent Ray Davison, who organised the raffle, said: “We thought this egalitarian raffle was fairer and in the spirit of Jeremy.”
