PLANS for a number of changes to be made at Topsham School have been backed by Exeter City Council.
An application which calls for an extension to the foundation year classroom, reforming of existing play canopies and the erection of a new play canopy, was submitted to Devon County Council in March.
The county council will make the final decision on the application.
Exeter City Council, meanwhile, has approved plans for a replacement roof, alterations to a kitchen to include new doors and rooflights, at 1 Clara Place.
The local authority has also approved an application for an enlarged, replacement balcony at a ground floor level at The Warehouse in Ferry Road.
