PLANS for a single storey rear extension to be built at a property in Budleigh Salterton have been backed by the town council.

PLANS for a single storey rear extension to be built at a property in Budleigh Salterton have been backed by the town council.

East Devon District Council will make the final decision on the plans, relating to 50 Granary Lane.

Additional applications backed by the town council include calls for a flat floor extension at 11 Frewins, a proposed rear terrace at Long Range Hotel, 5 Vales Road, a single storey extension at 4 Barns Road and a porch at 11 Granary Lane.

Plans approved by EDDC include an application for a single storey rear extension and external alterations at 35 Copp Hill Lane.
