LADRUM Bay Holiday Park in Otterton is raking up the awards after being voted into the top three of Britain’s most popular holiday parks.
The family-owned business won its latest plaudit from major holiday bookings agency Hoseasons which deals with more than 650 holiday parks throughout the UK.
Every year, members of Hoseasons’ 80-strong customer team vote on which parks appear to be providing the highest satisfaction rating among families.
This year their verdict was unanimous - that Ladram Bay fully deserved a place among the three UK parks.
General manager Claire Williams said: “Our staff team at Ladram Bay take special pride in providing a warm welcome and creating a friendly atmosphere for people to enjoy their holiday.
“Guests do often remark on how well they are treated at Ladram and on the standard of service provided by our staff, so it’s great to get this official recognition.”
The award is the latest in a long line of honours achieved year after year by the park for its high quality standards and concern for the natural environment.
Most recently, the business was awarded a finalist place in the new Devon Tourism Awards, the results of which were announced this September.
Ladram Bay was one of just three holiday parks to make it through to the last stages of judging in the awards, beating hundreds of other parks in the county.
Other accolades include a special Conservation Award from botanist David Bellamy who praised the park’s commitment to protecting and enhancing the natural world.
