The body of a man pulled from the sea at Ladram Bay has been identified as 57-year-old Martin Bennett from Dartmouth.
Police and coastguard were called on Monday (November 5) following reports a body had been seen in the sea near the bay at Otterton.
Mr Bennett’s death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.
He was reported missing to police on Sunday from his home in Dartmouth and a public appeal for information was issued.
A file will now be prepared for the coroner.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance throughout the police appeal.
