Kitchen fire in Withycombe

Firefighters called to a kitchen fire in a Withycombe home ventilated the property after finding the fire was out on their arrival.

Firefighters from Exmouth were on Thursday lunchtime called to Withycombe after reports a small fire had broken out in a kitchen in a home in Hamilton Lane.

When the crews arrived they found the fire was already out and used ventilation fans to clear smoke from the property.
