Littleham Primary School children have been learning about ‘kings and queens’ in the lead up to the Diamond Jubilee.

The children dressed up in a variety of ways including every member of the immediate royal family. They also had orgis and Egyptian queens too.

The aim of the Kings and Queens theme is to make learning exciting and relevant to the children and culminates in writing letters to the Queen and a Jubilee tea-party with tasty treats organised by the PTFA.

Headteacher Duncan Nelmes said: “Learning has to be about making those never forgotten memories and this term we are really fortunate to be offering the children such a wide range of exciting learning opportunities including the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee.”
