OFFICERS from the rural police team are urging people to keep their possessions locked and secure in a bid to thwart thieves.
OFFICERS from the rural police team are urging people to keep their possessions locked and secure in a bid to thwart thieves.
The police are also warning residents fuel thieves have been operating in the area.
PCSO Donna Baker said: "During the last month the area has seen a rise in theft of vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment from isolated areas. "Diesel theft continues, particularly in the industrial business parks."
PCSO Baker said the neighbourhood team was happy to provide crime prevention literature in a bid to stop the culprits.
