THE DIRECTOR of adult and community services at Devon County Council is leaving his post.
David Johnstone will leave at the end of this month to take up a new role for the Care Quality Commission - a recently-established regulatory body for health and social services.
Mr Johnstone said: "A great deal has been achieved within our services and we have a full and very positive programme of work.
"All of this will continue because it is driven by expertise and experience.
