As the joint proprietor of Moorfield Taxis for the last 20 years, could I say a heartfelt thank you to our customers for their loyalty over the years.
It is not without regret that I have decided to retire but, following the death of my husband, Charlie, three years ago, I now feel the time is right.
I would like to take this opportunity to let all of our existing customers and, hopefully, maybe some new ones know that, although Moorfield Taxis is no more, the service is still carrying on with my brother Ray (Ray's Taxis) giving the same helpful and friendly service. Ray has been driving for us for some time and is a very popular driver.
I would also like to thank my daughter, Sue, who kept the business going for three months after Charlie's death.
I will miss talking to you all on the phone, and hearing all your good news, but thank you once again for a memorable 20 years. Also, thank you to Steve and staff at Autosave, Jim Brown mechanic and Car and Commercial for their brilliant service over the years.
