Jewellery theft prompts police appeal

Police are appealing for help tracing a burglar who stole jewellery from a home in East Budleigh.

Police are urging residents in the East Budleigh to report suspicious behaviour after a home was burgled in the village.

Jewellery was stolen from a home in Vicarage Road sometime between 9am and 3.20pm on Tuesday November 19.

Detectives at Exmouth are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area.

Police said the stolen jewellery included a several chunky silver Tiffany bracelets, a pink pearl bracelet and a silver necklace with a twisted pendant.

If anyone has been offered jewellery for sale, or has information about the burglary, call Exmouth CID on 101 quoting crime reference KE/13/2762.
