The recycling/refuse leaflets from EDDC, instruct you (in small print) to put bins on pavements.
The by-law still stands where it is an offence to obstruct the public footpaths.
This means we are breaking the law; also someone could fall over the bin and take you to court for compensation.
The leaflet also states kerbside recycling; you have the path with a kerbside; this means we are putting the wheelie bin in the gutter (kerbside).
This situation could cause damage to vehicles.
No bins on pavements.
