THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9: A CAR treasure hunt in aid of Cancer Research UK kicks off from Woodbury Common on Sunday, October 19, from 1.30pm-2.30pm. The trail is set around East Devon and begins at the Warren car park. The event is open to all, takes around three hours to complete
A CAR treasure hunt in aid of Cancer Research UK kicks off from Woodbury Common on Sunday, October 19, from 1.30pm-2.30pm.The trail is set around East Devon and begins at the Warren car park.The event is open to all, takes around three hours to complete and will include a short walking section.Teams need to include two adults, who will be issued with details on arrival.The event ends at an East Devon pub where there will be a fun quiz for those who arrive early.There will also be a pink raffle and pink prizes. Treasure hunt organiser Carol Rowe said: "This is the seventh treasure hunt in support of Cancer Research UK's breast cancer initiative and it is set to be brilliant fun. "I would like people to wear something pink on the day to add to the atmosphere. "We are hoping to raise lots of money for breast cancer research. "If anyone would like to join us, please do give me a call."Entry for the treasure hunt is £3 per adult and £2 for children (five - 16yrs).
