With regard to the new bye-laws now in operation at the Imperial Recreation Ground.
As this area is, presumably, for the enjoyment of all, the new restrictions against one section of the public seem a bit draconian. Surely just a warning that certain activities take place here should be sufficient. But if not then whose needs can be accommodated elsewhere, the kiteboarders or the walkers? And accommodated they must be!
And would the Kite Festival also fall foul of this law as many of their kites are over the 2m limit.
This seems an ill-conceived law and I hope it will soon be rescinded.
