BUILDERS have begun preparing the former Woolworths store for its new owner - Iceland.Work began this week with builders working quickly inside to prepare the store for the frozen food giant.New counters and wall fittings are being installed and delivered to transform the store into the typical frozen food supermarket-chain found on most high streets.A spokesperson for Iceland said: "We can confirm we will be opening in the former Woolworths' site in August - but the actual date is still to be confirmed. "The product range is currently not available."Vacancies for the new store can be found at www.iceland.co.uk/careers. There is an application deadline of Monday, March 30.
