Oh how wonderful a Lidl will be! It will be in a good location for the huge housing complex in that part of Exmouth and it will be excellent competition for Tesco. It will be a reasonable size and single-storey. As a staunch supporter of Exmouth Citizen
Oh how wonderful a Lidl will be! It will be in a good location for the huge housing complex in that part of Exmouth - and it will be excellent competition for Tesco. It will be a reasonable size and single-storey.As a staunch supporter of Exmouth Citizens' Forum, I am not opposed to another supermarket in Exmouth, I am purely fighting to protect our open spaces beside the Exe Estuary.I have been an ardent Lidl shopper for the past 15 years. In those days I used to have to travel to Taunton (the nearest).Lidl will not be taking open space to build its store, but regenerating an existing commercial site.I will make full use of my bus pass to travel from The Point to the new store a few times a week (who needs a car).I do not shop at Tesco now and I do not intend to start shopping at an Asda. I fully support the proposal and the plans for a Lidl store.Heather Lane,44 Camperdown Terrace, Exmouth.
