Hundred mini's on seafront in classic car rally
A CLASSIC car rally along the Jurassic Coast in September, raising money for the RNLI, will finish in Exmouth.
A CLASSIC car rally along the Jurassic Coast in September, raising money for the RNLI, will finish in Exmouth.
The Jurassic Coast Mini Club, based in Weymouth, have been running for nearly three years and the charity run will finish the day at Exmouth Rugby Club, with a cruise along Exmouth Seafront
Called 'Mouth to Mouth' the event in the first year raised �160 for the RNLI, while last year 37 minis took part and raised another �160.
This year they aim to get 100 minis to take part and the target for fundraising is �500.

Chairman Jayne Simmons said: "We take part in many of the usual runs and shows such as the London to Brighton and Mini Cooper Day at Beaulieu, however, two years ago, we decided to put together our own charity run and chose the RNLI as the recipient for money collected on the day.
"We really want to make a big success of the run this year and raise as much as we can for this extremely worthwhile cause."

The run takes place on September 20 and �5 from each ticket sold, whatever is collected on the day and the proceeds of a raffle, will go straight to the RNLI.
