NEW figures show that the Exmouth to Exeter Avocet Line is the busiest in the South West, with an eight per cent increase in passenger numbers in the last year.
This follows an unprecedented nine percent increase the previous year - a million journeys were made in 2007, four times more than the other six branch lines in Devon and Cornwall.
