‘Huge’ amount of drugs seized in Exmouth

Police found drugs and cash believed to be worth between £35,000 and £40,000 after searches on Wednesday (July 26)

Drugs believed to be worth between £35,000 and £40,000 were seized by police in Exmouth on Wednesday, July 26.

Officers said they searched a caravan in Exmouth under the misuse of drugs act.

According to police further searches were made at properties in Exmouth where drugs including crack cocaine were seized along with some cash.

•A police spokesman said four people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class-A drug and have been released under investigation following interview. Police enquiries are ongoing
