May we express concern at the implementation of car parking fees for patients attending the Claremont Medical Practice because they use the same car park as the Exmouth Hospital. We suggest that:1. Patients visiting the practice are issued with permits with their car registration number, which can be used on each visit2. If a pay and display paying system is introduced, then a ticket is taken at the time of parking and, for the first hour, it is free to park. This is particularly important because, like us, we may be calling simply to pick up a prescription and take it to the Clare Pharmacy to have it made up. If any form of payment is imposed, the pharmacy will certainly have less ability to provide a service, as patients will drive to a chemist where the parking is free.
