New library service launched in Exmouth
A new service in Exmouth is making sure everyone has access to a public library, even if the library has to come to you.
The Royal Voluntary Service has teamed up with Devon Libraries to establish, throughout the county, a home library service that is proving to be a life-line for people living in Exmouth who find it difficult to travel to the new-look Exmouth Library.
The volunteers can help you choose books and will reserve books for you before bringing them to your door.
Books will include large print books, DVDs and audio books.
Sara Lopez, the volunteer co-ordinator in Exmouth, said there were currently 12 volunteers providing this valuable free service for the town.
If you think you would benefit from using the service or if you are able to join the volunteering team, please make enquiries to the Service Manager on 07786 635163 or at the library 01395 279709.
