In response to Mr Henwell's letter 'Defending town's bus service', I do not understand why my experience of the unreliable service should mean that I should be 'thankful' and that comparing the service to a limited service in Fleet in Hampshire is relevant. Plenty of places have better services and plenty have no service at all.The objective of my letter, which was also sent to Stagecoach, was to highlight the problems that many of us are experiencing during the early evening commute to Exmouth and requesting an achievable timetable, allowing us to plan our work and family life.My letter particularly related to the 16.51 service from Exeter. I would suggest that Mr Henwell's good experience of the 57 service is not sullied by attempting to take the 16.51 from Exeter Bus Station to Exmouth - although, since my letter, I must say this service has been running and almost on time!Claire Wise,Exeter Road, Exmouth.
