Here I go again, gypsies and travellers (not my words). Do the definitions of the words not speak for themselves? What value will these people bring to the community?Exmouth is a little town, with hardly enough work for the people who live here, and there are a lot of youngsters working in low-paid jobs who could do with a helping hand. Give these people a piece of ground and let them put a caravan on it. Caravans are a lot cheaper to buy than a flat. The caravan could be their first rung on the ladder and give them chance to save enough to buy a flat. They could then sell the caravan on to the next person etc. Prove to them that, if they go out to work, there are rewards. Give them something to look forward to and aim for. We have to look after these kids or they will be disheartened and find the struggle too hard and give up. Most are not sitting back expecting handouts.Gypsies and travellers have transport - send them to a city where they have a chance of finding work.Do not forget that Exmouth is just a small town.
