An Exmouth preschool is looking for help from the community to create a fantastical trail through a town park.

For the second year running, Withycombe Raleigh Preschool is planning to stage a ‘magical fairy trail’ through Phear Park, on July 22 and 23.

The preschool is calling for residents, groups and businesses to help out by decorating one of the 20 fairy doors which will make up the trail.

The doors will be hidden in the park’s wooded footpath area and children will be given a quiz sheet with questions to answer about the doors.

The preschool’s Jodie Lawrie said: “The event was a massive success last year with big and little kids alike with around 500 visitors over the two days and this year it is expected to attract even more.”

Anyone interested in getting involved is asked to email or call Jodie on 07921 970622.
