Once again, we would like to say many thanks to Tesco for allowing, the Exmouth Royal Marines Association to collect funds from within their store. The occasion was a great success, with £1,798.94 being raised for our Royal Marines Funds. The generosity of the people of Exmouth was again apparent but, this time, a number of holidaymakers made themselves known and showed a great interest in our activities and that of the corpsMrs Jocelyn and Tesco staff, as always, excelled themselves. Mrs Jocelyn, with her help and advice was, I am sure, instrumental in our achieving such a good figure. It was a pleasure to be within the Tesco store and it is hoped that Tesco's help to our cause will be matched by their staff visits to the King Squad Pass-Out Parades.William Flatt, Chairman, Exmouth Royal Marines' Association,79 Exeter Road, Topsham.l On April 11, I was one of several members of the RMA who were afforded the privilege of collecting for service charities at our local Tesco stores.I must take this opportunity to thank the many customers who donated to the cause. Thanks also to Helen Jocelyn and her checkout operators, all of whom made us most welcome.Contributors can be assured the monies collected will be donated to worthwhile services charities, so, once again, thank you one and all.J W Branton5 Fraser Road, Exmouth
