PEOPLE who have difficulties reading newsprint may soon be offered help in Topsham.
The Exmouth and District Talking Newspaper for the Blind, plans to extend its distribution to cover the area.
Recordings made available to people who struggle to read are free of charge, and contain weekly stories from the Exmouth Journal - which includes Topsham news.
The talking newspaper provides a playback machine and personal instructions. Audio is in digital form and on a memory stick.
The charity also provides a quarterly magazine recording.
Anyone living in Topsham who would like to receive the recordings should contact Gill Laws, secretary of The Exmouth and District Talking Newspaper for the Blind, on 01395 266968.
Arrangements will then be made for a member to contact the listener and start the receipt of audio recordings.
