Drivers should take extra care tonight, says SWASFT.


Rainfall and thunderstorms are expected to hit North Somerset this evening (Saturday), the MetOffice has warned.

The weather service has released a yellow weather warnings for ‘heavy, thundery rainfall’ across the whole of the South West from now until 10pm tonight.

The storm is also likely to cause flooding, especially in urban areas.

People are advised to take extra care while travelling.
