A County Council grant will boost the Woodbury Church Rooms' restoration project.Ward councillor Bernard Hughes has dipped into his community funds budget to allocate £728 to the scheme - allowing a hearing induction loop to be installed at the community venue. The aid will help those hard of hearing at events such as regular Parish Council meetings.Cllr Hughes said: "This listed building at the centre of the village was completely restored under the leadership of Woodbury parish councillor Cllr Reg Brown but it lacked what is today an essential need for a 'hard of hearing loop'."I am pleased to provide the cost of this loop from the local County Committee budget made available to me so that this building can be used by everyone.
