Budleigh people have been given the chance to find out more about healthy eating thanks to the town’s library.

The library hosted a food and nutrition event run by Home Instead on Tuesday as part of its series of ‘Active life, active mind’ events.

Home Instead’s Mark McGlade said: “The library is usually closed on Tuesday, but they are opening it up to more community-based activities as part of ‘Active life, active mind’.

“We do a lot of community work, and agreed to go over and put on some activities around nutrition and eating well in the community.”

Home Instead will be returning to the library to do a first aid session at the end of the month.
