CHILDREN will be able to enjoy a whole lot of fun for free when on Friday a packed programme of summertime entertainment gets underway in the city.
The first of a series of Exeter City Council organised Fun4Free events takes place on July 25, at Lakeside Avenue Play Area in Countess Wear, from 1pm to 4pm.
The Fun4Free events encourage children to take part in free and active play where parents don't need to bring along their purse at all, just a packed lunch and of course their children!
There will be creative workshops, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) tent, football and lots of games, all completely free.
This is the first of five Fun4Free events that are taking place all over the city in July and August with the others as follows:
Friday August 1 - Coburg Green, Kings Heath Friday August 15 - Wonford Playing Fields Friday August 22 - Station Road Play Area, Exwick Friday August 29 - Arena Park, Beacon Heath
