SALEM Chapel’s annual Victorian Christmas service takes place Sunday, December 19
People attending the service at the East Budleigh Chapel are being invited to dress up in Victorian attire with the service conducted by Rev. Geoff Slather by candlelight.
Kathy Moyle of the Chapel said: “We and the Rev. Slather will be dressed up and some people like to dress up, but should not feel that they have to.
“The service will be by candlelight, but we will have the heating on!”
The chapel will be decorated Victorian style with a special Victorian Christmas room and Victorian hymns sung. Warm mulled wine and mince pies will be served.
The service begins at 4pm.
