Half-term fun - Playday Away In Haldon Forest

Places are filling up fast for a playday in the Haldon Forest at half-term.The Play Rangers are inviting children and their parents to take part in all sorts of activities on Wednesday, October 29.

Places are filling up fast for a playday in the Haldon Forest at half-term.The Play Rangers are inviting children and their parents to take part in all sorts of activities on Wednesday, October 29.

The Haldon Forest Rangers will also be on hand to organise four hours of bush craft, music, arts and more.

Exeter City Council have arranged free transport to get families to the forest, so no one need be worried about the distance. Places on the buses must be booked in advance, and are already being filled up, so families should phone as soon as possible to reserve their seats.

The buses will be leaving from five locations:

Each bus will depart between 11am and 11.30am and will leave Haldon at 4.30pm. Families can bring a picnic, or purchase lunch at Haldon.

Children aged up to 14 will be welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
