WITH concerns growing about the health implications in the absorption of harmful chemicals from conventional hair dye products an increasing number of professional hairdressers have begun to search for natural alternatives that work as well as conventional products.
Nikki White, owner and manager of Ragamuffins hair salon in Kenton, outside of Exeter, held these concerns 11-years ago when she first set the salon up.
She decided to immediately choose hair colour, care and styling products that are natural and non-irritating as possible as a direct result of these concerns.
Ragamuffins and her sister salon Fusion, only use Herb UK's Organic Colour Systems products.
What makes the range exceptional is Herb UK's commitment to optimum results using naturally derived ingredients which are kind and nurturing to both the client's hair and to the health and well-being of salon staff and their working environment.
Developed over five years by Herb UK, the UK's largest independent own brand manufacturer of hair products, Organic Colour Systems features natural extracts, including Aloe Vera, comfrey, orange and grapefruit.
Nikki is satisfied that all her clients are "one hundred percent positive about the range."
Both clients and colourists said they "love the way that no staining occurs on the skin when the colour is being applied and the finished result is hair that is conditioned the way it should be by the natural moisture content of the hair being kept in."
