Otter Rotters recycling group is reminding people it now collects green waste in Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton. Read this and more.

SELF-HEALING: Sessions to help self-healing for injuries and aid flexibility are being offered in Exmouth.

The Moving Naturally studio and outdoors sessions explore simple yoga positions, breath and body awareness.

Individual and group studio sessions are being held in Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton.

Half and full-day workshops run throughout the year.

TRANSPORT LIFELINE: People with problems using public transport, or who have difficulty getting around, may qualify for the Ring and Ride service or Budleigh Community Bus.

The charity transport service provides a lifeline to those keen to retain their independence.

The Exmouth and District Community Transport Group always welcomes donations to keep the service on the road.

SINGING SOCIAL: A singing group which aims to help those suffering from dementia is held in Exmouth every Wednesday.

Singing for the Brain is designed to be a fun, stimulating and social activity for those in the early stages of dementia, and their carers.

The group meets weekly from 2pm-4pm at Brixington Church Hall, in Churchill Road.

GO GREENER: Otter Rotters recycling group is reminding people it now collects green waste in Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton.

The group visits the Budleigh on alternate Wednesdays and Exmouth every other Thursday.

The pay-to-use service collects waste from outside homes at £1.50 per bag. Tough re-usable bags are £4 each.

All waste collected is recycled into top-quality compost, which is for sale at £3.50 per bag with free delivery.
