Green-fingered efforts scoop prize for Exmouth woman

TAKING part in Exmouth in Bloom s annual garden competition proved a successful move for Ann Holman when it was announced she was the winner of the 2009 event.

TAKING part in Exmouth in Bloom's annual garden competition proved a successful move for Ann Holman when it was announced she was the winner of the 2009 event.

Mrs Holman, of Camperdown Terrace, won a patio set donated by Kings Garden and Leisure, in Hulham Road.

Owner Richard King presented Mrs Holman with her prize for scoring the highest number of points in the private gardens section.

Exmouth in Bloom chairman Pat Graham said: "We are extremely grateful to Richard King for his unending enthusiasm and support of Exmouth in Bloom and I am delighted that Ann Holman has won this fabulous prize."
